When I said “I do” to Haley nearly 32 years ago at First Baptist Church of Canton, I never dreamed our journey would lead us where we are today. I am deeply honored to serve as Mississippi’s First Lady. I appreciate the opportunity to work with Mississippians to make our state a better place and strive to reach its full potential. With all of the important issues facing our state, I am especially concerned about early childhood education. We must embrace lifelong learning in this state, and new research about early childhood development and its effects on learning potential are dramatically raising the stakes. We must have our children ready to learn at an early age and have the resources to provide them with this opportunity.
Mississippi means so much to Haley and me. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve and thank you again for visiting this site. Please come back again soon! Sincerely, |
