Governor Barbour Makes Appointments to State Board of
Veterinary Medicine

(Jackson, Miss.)—Governor Haley Barbour announced the appointments of Dr. David C. Newell, of Meridian, and Dr. Clyde E. Taylor, of Starkville, to the State Board of Veterinary Medicine.

“I am very proud of these appointments,” said Governor Barbour. “Each brings a wealth of talent to the table, and will do an excellent job in serving the citizens of Mississippi.”

Newell, representing the First Supreme Court District, will serve an unexpired term, ending April 22, 2008. Taylor, representing the Third Supreme Court District, will serve a five-year term, ending April 22, 2009.
